Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is almost here, and this long awaited sequel to 2018’s RPG of the same name (sans the 2) brings a lot of improvements and upgrades over its predecessor – including multiple visual upgrades.
The game has had its PC system requirements officially listed, which do demand quite a beefy setup. More on the listed requirements, and a small breakdown in the sections below.
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 system requirements

Minimum PC system requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10 or newer, 64-bit required
- CPU: Intel Core i5 8400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600
- RAM: 16 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 (6 GB) or an AMD Radeon RX 580
- Storage: 100 GB
Recommended PC system requirements
- Operating System: Windows 10 or newer, 64-bit required
- CPU: Intel Core i7 13700K or an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D
- RAM: 32 GB
- GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
- Storage: 100 GB
While not mentioned, the usage of a solid state drive (SSD) over a traditional HDD is also encouraged.
The listed minimum PC system requirements do seem to be rather tame, with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 being quite the curious choice here. This means that unlike most modern games that impose mandatory ray tracing across all presets, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is unlikely to do the same.
As a consequence of these minimum requirements, the game should run decently on handhelds such as the Steam Deck and ROG Ally.
The recommended settings do seem to be quite demanding though, especially on the CPU side of things. This shouldn’t be a problem though, as long as the game scales well. Additional features, such as ray-tracing and unlocked frame rates are to be expected, but niceties such as ultrawide support and modern upscalers (such as DLSS 4 and FSR 3.2) would be nice to have implemented.
