League of Legends Worlds 2025 is right around the corner. The biggest LoL event of the year is guaranteed to deliver exciting storylines and hype matchups.
The tournament will also feature some of the very best top laners in the world duking it out for the Summoner’s Cup.
7 best top laners in League of Legends Worlds 2025
1) Kiin

Kiin is simply the best top laner in the world right now. The Korean veteran, alongside, Gen.G has been utterly dominant this year in the LCK.
No one else has come close to Kiin’s level, both domestically and internationally. If Kiin can keep up his incredible form, there is a very high chance that Gen.G can take home the Summoner’s Cup.
2) TheShy

TheShy’s return to competitive play has been a great success on an individual level. Invictus Gaming did manage to qualify for the Worlds Play-in stage. However, their current form is super worrying and expectations around them beating T1 are minimal.
If there is a player that can change the narrative, it is TheShy. The former World Champion is the ultimate wildcard and can completely take over a series if he is locked in.
Whether the rest of Invictus Gaming, or even TheShy, will show up when it matters vs T1 remains to be seen.
3) Flandre

While Flandre, and Anyone’s Legend as a whole, had a topsy-turvy Summer Split, his sheer experience and star power cannot be overlooked.
The former World Champion will be eager to add another one to his trophy cabinet. If Flandre can hold his own against the very best and provide the foundation for Tarzan and Shanks to carry, Anyone’s Legend can be a serious threat at Worlds 2025.
4) 369

369 returns to the international stage after missing out on MSI 2025. The reputation around Top Esports at global tournaments is understandably at an all-time low.
However, the new iteration of Top Esports with Hang instead of Crisp has looked very solid regionally. They narrowly lost out to BLG twice in Bo5s and 369 has been a key factor in their domestic success.
If Top Esports want to prevent further embarrassment on the big stage, 369 will have to show up big at Worlds 2025.
5) Zeus

Zeus hasn’t showcased his peak form this year compared to 2023 and 2024. However, it is undeniable that he is one of the most mechanically gifted players in the world.
If there is one event that can power up Zeus to his godlike form, it is Worlds 2025. A large part of Hanwha Life’s success at this event will rely on the performances of Zeus and his ADC teammate, Viper.
6) BrokenBlade

BrokenBlade has solidified his spot as the best top laner in Europe after the Summer Split playoffs. With the downfall of Karmine Corp’s Canna and completely outclassing Myrwn, BrokenBlade is an important piece if G2 want to make it to the Top 8.
Expectations around this G2 roster aren’t as high compared to previous years. It will be up to the seasoned veterans on the big stage such as BrokenBlade, Caps, and Hans sama to power up G2 at Worlds 2025.
7) Bwipo

Bwipo will be one of the most talked about players in this event for a variety of reasons. The recent controversy around his remarks has made him a hot topic in the community.
However, on the Rift, Bwipo has had a very solid year domestically as FlyQuest dominated the LTA. His unique champion pool and his tendency to push the limits is one of the reasons why FlyQuest is deemed to be the West’s best chance at taking down Eastern teams.
