Item trade has always been a staple feature in MMORPGs and while the system is available in Throne and Liberty it’s not present in the more traditional sense. While you will be able to trade items with friends, you will not be able to do it directly through your inventory.
The trading system takes some getting used to in Throne and Liberty. It’s directly tied to the Auction House and you will be able to exchange resources like Sollant and Lucent here.
Here is a guide on everything you need to know about trading in Throne and Liberty.
How does Trading work in Throne and Liberty

As mentioned, you will not be able to trade with friends directly from your inventory in Throne and Liberty. This system is kept in place so that players can’t directly trade real-life money and ruin the in-game economy of the server that you are in.
Trading in the MMO takes place in the form of purchasing items or exchanging one item for another in the Auction House.
How to use the Auction House in Throne and Liberty
To use the Auction House will first need to hit level 40 and get your hands on the premium currency known as Lucent. You will gain this resource by simply playing the game and completing the various quests around the map.
Some of the best sources will be cross-server wars, taking on Rift Stone bosses, and participating in other PvP events. You will then be able to use Lucent to purchase rare gear, crafting mats, and other resources that you need to min-max your character and build.
Alternatively, can also sell crafting mats and rare resources yourself at the Auction House for Lucent. You will just need to navigate to the item section of the in-game menu and then click on th Auction House button (you can also bring up the Auction menu by hitting F9).
Once the menu is up you will be able to spot the various prices for items. These will range from 20 and 100 Lucent based on the item’s worth as well as rarity. Blue and Epic rarity items in particular will provide you with the highest amount of Lucent.
However, do keep in mind that a tax will be applied when selling items in the Auction House. The basic tax rate is 20%, however, that can be higher if you are selling an item to a player who is on a different server.
