The Ray Gun is one of the three Wonder Weapons that you will find in Call of Duty Black Ops 6, and is an extremely powerful weapon to begin with.
This weapon was first seen in World War II and has been reprised for Activision’s latest entry into the popular FPS franchise.
So, here’s how you can get this weapon in Black Ops 6 and the Zombies maps you can find it on.
Where to find the Ray Gun in Call of Duty Black Ops 6
The weapon drops from three primary sources, namely:
- Mystery Boxes
- Loot Boxes
- S.A.M. Trials
When it comes to Mystery Boxes, these will spawn randomly on the island that you’re on, and will cost you 950 Essence to open. Here, you can use GobbleGums like Immolation Liquidation, which triggers a fire sale that reduces the cost of these Mystery Boxes to 10 Essence.
Alternatively, you can also use the Respin Cycle to re-spin the rewards if you’re not satisfied with what you get. And ultimately, The Wonderbar is a GobbleGum that will reward you with a guaranteed Wonder Weapon the next time you open a Mystery Box.
Loot Boxes on the other hand, differ slightly between the two islands. For Terminus Island, you’ll find these Loot Boxes scattered in the shallow water surrounding the region. For Liberty Falls, the Loot Boxes are contained within the Bank Vault, that you need to unlock first before you can access them.
To unlock these Loot Boxes, however, you’ll need to have keys which only Elite enemies drop when you defeat them.
Finally, S.A.M. Trials are mini-games that randomly appear on the map. Once you activate them, you’ll be able to collect multiple useful rewards, which can also include the Ray Gun.
Unlike the other Wonder Weapons, you cannot craft the Ray Gun in Black Ops 6. Instead, you’ll have to depend upon your luck to get this weapon.
