The Dr. Glimmerfin quest is a new mission that has made its way to Fisch with the Golden Tides update. It tasks you with finding four Algae and is relatively simple to round out.
However, there are some in the community who are having a hard time finding the exact locations of the Algae in the Roblox game. So if you are struggling with the quset as well, then the guide below will help you out.
All Dr. Glimmerfin quest Algae sample locations in Fisch
To start the quest you will need to visit and interact with Dr. Glimmerfin in Moosewood. The task is to acquire four Algae samples for the scientist. You will be able to find them in the Algae Pools which spawn randomly on the map.
Fortunately, there will be a pointer indicating to them as soon as one spawns in the area.
There are four types of Algae Pools that you will come across in Fisch, each providing you with a different Algae sample. Here is a list of general locations where you will find them all:

| First Pool | The first one can be found in the Ancient Isles, and you will find the pool in the ocean. |
| Second Pool | You will find this one in the Snowcap Island. |
| Third Pool | The third pool is located at the Forsaken Island. |
| Fourth Pool | You will need to head to the Mushgrove Island region to get that final Algae Pool |
Once you find your Algae Pools, you will be able to collect the sample by fishing in it. There is a fair bit of RnG involved in the process, but after a few attempts, you are likely going to get your hands on what you need.
Note: If you are having trouble getting Algae samples in a public server, then make a private session. Many in the community have reported that after other players have collected their Algae not much of the samples remain in the pools.
Fisch Dr. Glimmerfin quest rewards
Once you have the four samples, just head back to Dr. Glimmerfin and turn in the quest. You will then be rewarded with his exclusive boat along with a new Firework Rod.
While the quest is simple, it can be pretty time-consuming, but the rewards are worth the effort you put into it.
