With Dragon Age The Veilguard gearing for its official release, there are many in the community who are curious about how long it will take to beat the latest franchise entry. Dragon Age titles are usually pretty long and packed with a lot of content.
Dragon Age: Inquisition especially took over 80 hours to complete properly, and that is if you are not going for a completionist run.
So if you are looking for Veilguard’s completion time, here is how long it will take you to beat the RPG.
How long does it take to beat Dragon Age The Veilguard?

If you are just looking to enjoy the main story missions with a bit of side content in Dragon Age The Veilguard, it will take you around 30-40 hours to beat the game. However, if you are willing to complete most of the side quests that the RPG has to offer, and go through every single cutscene, then you will be looking at a playtime of around 60+ hours.
A completionist run will take even longer if you want to unlock all the trophies and achievements in Dragon Age The Veilguard. A 100% run should take you somewhere around 80+ hours.
The playtime can also increase and decrease drastically based on the difficulty that you are playing it on.
There are six difficulty settings:
- Storyteller
- Keeper
- Adventurer
- Underdog
- Nightmare
- Unbound (Full customizable mode)
So if you are playing the RPG on Storyteller you will be breezing through combat and you will not be required to farm too much to min-max your build.
Whereas, if you are playing it on Nightmare, you will have a rough time clearing content if you are not properly optimizing your build. You will also likely die a lot, so your playtime is going to go up drastically.
Irrespective of how you are looking to tackle the game, there is indeed a lot of content that you will be able to enjoy.
